Youth
From toddlers to young adults, we are committed to providing well-rounded and memorable experiences for our youngest members. Our seasonal youth newsletter, BCC Kid's Connection, offers a glimpse of all there is to do!
We offer the best camps in all of Blacksburg throughout the summer, with many different offerings for various age groups. Kids Club and KidZone are programs designed to meet the needs of our members whose children need care for a few hours during the day and/or night in order to enjoy the Club's many facilities. There is no end to the activities we provide, including our Family Nights, Kid's Pool Parties, Pizza and Movie Nights, Pirate Parties at the Pool, American Red Cross Lifeguard and Babysitter Training Courses, Tween Dinner Theater, Spring and Halloween Carnivals, Dive-In Movies, Gingerbread House Classes, and Brunch With Santa. No matter what time of year, there is always something to do at BCC!
Activities
Kidzone
KidZone is a service designed to allow parents to have some time in the morning to run errands, go to the gym, or just to relax for a few hours. Children are introduced to numbers, letters and age appropriate activities to help with motor skills and working together as a group. We also enjoy reading time and lunch is provided. KidZone is offered three days a week (typically Tuesday through Thursday) from 9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. For children ages 2 - 5 years old. Parents can choose a one, two, or three day options.
Summer camps
BCC offers approximately 25 camps during the summer. Children of all ages may participate in camp every Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The schedule, with various themes, is released in early spring each year and fills up fast! Sign up typically occurs during our Spring Carnival.
